Foam Pad Dock Seal
Nova foam pad dock seals provide protection from a draught, rain and wind. They form a perfect seal between the truck and the building and protect against energy losses and potential damages to the products being loaded/un-loaded. These types of seals are typically specified for refrigerated environments or where you wish to help safeguard against theft.
The seals when specified, manufactured and installed correctly will cater for your range of vehicles that utilise the loading bays providing the best non-energy using vehicle seal solution. Nova state that if you do not see daylight around the vehicle when it is parked on the loading bay you have then created the perfect seal.
Nova foam pad dock seals are also installed in conjunction with a Nova dock shelter to provide the optimum seal as well as protect against rain ingress especially when your building has no loading bay canopy present.
Nova offer the following options with this type of seal:
Product specification:
- Treated wood backer board, painted black for greater weather durability. Optional steel backing plate available upon request.
- Heavy duty adhesive chemically bonds high density foam to wood backer; ensures foam pad stays in the position where it is most effective.
- Fixing angle brackets for outside edges of seals.
- High Density foam for a longer life and superior compression.
- Air and Rain pockets on the outside of each seal vertical and two on the underside of the header pad prevent excess wear and tear as air escapes the pad while also keeping rain out.
- Yellow guide stripes to direct drivers to the correct dock parking position when placing vehicle on loading bay
- Fixing flat brackets for mounting to edge of door; offset seals will use 90 degree angles for any offset edge great enough to accommodate angle.
- Drainage holes punched in bottom to ensure release of moisture accumulation and air when compressed
