Inflatable Dock Shelters
Nova Inflatable dock shelters provide the most versatile air bag sealing system to trucks and vans that utilise loading bays. They are especially used when sites have vehicles parking on loading bays with varied height differences.
Nova can offer an insulated version where temperature control is pivotal or a cladded version for standard ambient environments. Our inflatable shelters can be mounted at dock height or can be go down to ground externally.
Our general size of a standard shelter is 3600mm wide x 3700mm high for standard height vehicles mounted at dock height, where we need to cater for double deck moving deck vehicles the height of shelter is increased to 4400mm. (support mounting brackets are provided)
Product specification:
The airbags are manufactured from a hard-wearing waterproof material to ensure a long shelf life on site. The airbags have an internal counterbalance retraction mechanism taking approximately 16 seconds to deflate from being fully inflated. Nova can introduce a time delay on your traffic light system to ensure the bags are fully deflated before the vehicle departs from the loading bay.
The structure of the shelters are manufactured from either a steel box profile which is plastisol sheet clad or manufactured from 50mm thick insulated panel which is vital for temperature controlled loading bay areas.
The operating system is powered by a 240v or 415V (16amp) fan unit that continuously runs whist the vehicle is parked on the loading bay.
